Merge and split PDF files online
This free tool combines several PDFs into one file and splits a PDF into smaller files. You can also extract pages, delete pages and rotate pages. It runs in your browser, so your documents are not uploaded to a server.
How to merge PDF files
- Click the upload area and choose two or more PDFs.
- Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons on each file card to set the order.
- Optional: click pages to select only the ones you want, or type a range such as
1-5,7,9-12. - Click Merge & download.
How to split a PDF
- Every page: each page becomes its own PDF.
- Every N pages: for example every 2 pages, or every 10.
- Custom ranges: type
1-3,4-6,7to get three files.
If the split creates more than one file, you get a ZIP. A single result downloads as a PDF. This also works as an "unmerge" for a PDF that was combined from several documents.
Delete, extract and rotate pages
- Delete selected: click the pages you do not want and the rest is saved as a new PDF.
- Extract selected: pick pages and save only those into one PDF.
- Rotate selected: turns pages by 90 degrees each click.
Why a browser-based PDF tool?
Many online PDF tools upload your files to a server. Here the work happens on your device, which is useful for contracts, IDs and financial documents. Your files stay in your browser's memory until you close the page or click Clear all.
Good to know
- Page content, text and images are copied without recompression. Bookmarks, links between pages, form fields and document properties may not carry over to the merged file.

- Very large files depend on your device memory. Merge in batches if the browser slows down.
- Scanned PDFs stay as images. This tool does not run OCR.
